forward to a fantastic Yellow Rose this year and hoping that you will be part
of it! It's
a fun show and a great time to practice for the World. (Halter exhibitors, we do have Halter High Point buckles at
this show.) Henderson
County Fairpark will once again be supplying the BBQ dinner on Saturday. TPEA
Amateur President
Jena La Haye will have refreshments earlier in the day. Youth Advisor
Pamela Russell will be taking orders Friday for a pizza get
together Friday evening. (All youth are invited; TPEA youth will need to stay
after for a brief meeting.) The
online pre entry
is still a problem, but if you don't use Outlook or Outlook Express you can
do one of two things: 1.
Print a printable

was mentioned in an April enews, June is a difficult month for motel
reservations. Athens has a lot of weddings
and reunions, and we
suggested that you book rooms early. TPEA now has 10 rooms
available at the Super 8. They have offered a 25% discount which makes
the rates $69 to $79. To get these rates, tell them you are with
"Texas Palomino/Yellow Rose Classic". Following
is a list of Room #'s that are reserved for us: The
Queen doubles start with 53606... and end with 234,
310, 318, 323,
327, 307, 313, 316. The
King singles start with the same 53606... and end with
365, 379,
367, 370. Two
other room numbers are 53607187 and 53607243. The
motel will only hold these rooms until Monday, May 17. A
new Best Western is supposed to open this month, but we have not been able to
contact them yet.
